Remembering oral history shared from generation to generation and then passing that history on to our children and our children's children can seem daunting. One way to capture family history is through scrapbooking which includes decorating photos and pages in diverse ways and writing down the person(s), places, and things occurring at the time. This class is a great way to make memories, then share with family and friends.

Alzheimer’s disease is a common and challenging condition often affecting older, African American communities more than others. To get the help we need to combat this disease, it is imperative that we learn the advancing symptoms. We also need to understand why this happens, so that targeted support and resources can be provided to these communities.
